I am Damian CEO of Rabbit-Trans Polska.
It all started in 2015, when I was bored with working in a truck and decided to change my life.
It was a time when there was no competition from online platforms Uber Bolt FreeNow in Gdańsk, the market for taxi services that you didn't ask about was getting worse and worse.
But something told me to try.
I was not disappointed, for the first years I worked as a sole proprietorship without a big logo.
I liked the fact that I was independent and that no one told me what to do or how to do it.
Everything was on my shoulders, but it motivated me to do even better.
Working in a taxi gave me great satisfaction, I could get to know the city from a completely different perspective.
There were a few nervous situations, but the vast majority of my passengers remain in my memory.
There is something about this job that can attract you.
Unfortunately, at some point, the market collapsed due to online applications and, more precisely, unhealthy competition from large foreign brands.
Day by day I started earning less and less, working more and more.
My colleagues left their jobs and changed jobs.
I was just a taxi driver for a few years, I couldn't accept the fact that this was the end of the story.
I decided to fight to abandon my lifestyle, I joined the Gold Taxi corporation. This was something new for me, I got a taste of VIP rides and started working directly with hotels and big business.
Despite the difficult times, I knew this was what I wanted to continue.
After some time, I changed my partner to Neptun Taxi, currently the largest local company in the Business and Hotel class.
I was constantly developing my business contacts.
In the spring of 2020, things were supposed to get better and better, the investments I had made earlier were supposed to start bringing profits.
But total localization will begin in Poland.
Over the next six months, I lost 99% of my work.
The moment more than one gave up, I worked harder and harder.
Hundreds of e-mails and telephone calls.
It worked!
Today I have another stage.
I run a European transport company.
I have more contacts and regular customers.
He solves problems where others give up.
Transport is my job and my lifestyle.
