From July 2 to 5, the Gdynia-Kosakowo airport will host another edition of the Open'er festival , long awaited by music fans, which has rightly been called the largest music festival in Poland.
This year, the organizers from Alter Art have raised the bar again : spectacular world-class stars, improved infrastructure, ecological solutions and new chillout zones – this is just the beginning of the list of attractions.
Open'er Festival Gdynia is not just about concerts – it is a four-day experience that brings together people, styles and sounds from all over the world. And all this on the grounds of a former airport, in a space perfectly designed for huge music events. Yes, you read that right – Linkin Park is returning to the stage, and in Gdynia, as the star of the final day of the festival. Emily Armstrong from Dead Sara is joining the line-up, taking over vocals, carrying on the spirit of Chester Bennington with incredible energy. This will be a concert that will be talked about for a long time.
Muse – Headliner July 4th

It is a festival classic, without which it is hard to imagine Open'er. The huge camping area can accommodate thousands of people and allows you to feel the true spirit of the event.
Space organized with comfort in mind: 2-meter distances between tents, a quiet zone, bio toilets and access to showers 24/7 (PLN 10/5 minutes). This is where the best friendships and night jam sessions are born!
2. Glamping – comfortable tents with amenities
If you like the atmosphere of a tent, but don't want to give up comfort - opt for glamping . Spacious tents with beds (king size or bunk), wooden floors and access to an exclusive VIP area await you.

Since 2002, they have been developing the Open'er Festival , which has grown from a small event into an international powerhouse. Entry, security and event rules
Entrances : You can enter the Open'er area through Gdynia Gate and Kosakowo Gate , open daily from 1:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. – until late at night.
Wristband = entry ticket : Exchange your entry ticket for an RFID wristband. Exchange points have been operating since June 30 in Gdynia – e.g. at the PKP Main Station.
Security : The festival is supported by professional security and medical services. The whole thing is supported by monitoring from AI cameras and drones with defibrillators.
Regulations : Remember, you do not bring: alcohol, drugs, weapons, photo equipment over 200 mm and your own drinks over 500 ml. Backstage workshops? Only after passing the OHS training!
How to get to the festival grounds in Gdynia
Public transport : The main option is the SKM train to Gdynia Główna + a free shuttle bus that takes participants to the festival site every 15 minutes.
From Sopot or Gdańsk : You can also catch the SKM or combine the train with bus 109. There is also the option of a taxi to the Open'er festival (approx. PLN 100) or your own car.
Bicycle, carpooling, hydrogen shuttle? Open'er 2025 introduces new features: the Veturilo bicycle system, discounts for carpooling (min. 3 people = 30% cheaper on parking), and even test hydrogen buses from the center of Gdynia.
