Wondering if your dream vacation is in good hands? The travel market has finally caught wind, but not every travel agency is worthy of your wallet.

In this text, I take a closer look at the giants from the national arena and check who the residents of Tricity trust.

This isn't a boring list of numbers – it's your guide to a safe and enjoyable holiday.

Ranking of travel agencies in Poland

Tourist landscape. Will we fly safely in 2025/26?

Do you still remember the days of pandemic and uncertainty? We can forget about them. The tourism industry is not only getting back on its feet, but actually sprinting.

The years 2024-25 have shown that Poles are hungry for travel, and travel agencies are seeing record profits from tours . But be warned – the market is changing.

Clients are becoming more and more demanding, and the gap between the best and average offices is widening.

In this article, I combine hard financial data with what's most important to you – the voices of thousands of tourists who have already returned from their holidays (and have a lot to say).

Behind the scenes of the ranking: Not only big money, or how we checked the offices

Before we get into specifics, you need to understand where these results came from. It's undeniable that these days, simply looking at a company's revenue isn't enough. What good is a large office if it treats a client like a number on a spreadsheet?

That is why I used a hybrid method in the national ranking:

  • Financial security: I check whether the office is stable (based on reports for 2023/2024).

  • Voice of the People: I analyze the average rating from portals such as Wakacje.pl or Opineo.

What about our local neighborhood in the Tricity? Public Trust is key here. I promote places in Gdańsk, Sopot, and Gdynia that not only have high ratings but also a lot of reviews. Because let's be honest, it's easier to get an "A" when only our aunt and two cousins have rated us.

What's hot? Trends for 2025/26

Just look at what's happening: First Minute Travel is back in vogue. Tourists are planning ahead again, which gives travel agencies a financial boost.

The giants are growing stronger (Rainbow, for example, records profits of PLN 174 million!), and small offices are escaping into niches.

Giants under scrutiny: Nationwide ranking of tour operators

Who offers the best compromise between peace of mind and unforgettable experiences? Here's a look at the most important players in the Polish sky.

Who to choose? A quick look at the favorites.

  1. Rainbow – Number one for a reason. They may not be the biggest in revenue, but they win on quality. Customers love their sightseeing tours ("Rainbow style"). If you want to see something, not just relax, this is the place for you.

  2. Itaka – The Giant Everyone Knows. This is synonymous with travel agencies in Poland. A 5.3 rating might not be impressive, but with such a massive scale, mishaps are inevitable. You choose them for peace of mind and accessibility.

  3. Anex Tour – Attention, changes are coming ! This is the biggest surprise. They're entering the market with their elbows and... planes. They're the only ones offering Comfort and Business Class charters on a large scale. Finally, you can fly comfortably on vacation.

  4. TUI – Cheap, but is it good? Opinions are divided on this. TUI has focused on technology. There's no resident at the hotel, only an app. For young people looking for the lowest price – great. For seniors requiring care – it can be problematic.

The best travel agencies in Poland

Gdańsk: Where do residents buy their dreams?

The Gdańsk market is a fascinating mix. It's a battle between corporate salons and enthusiasts who know everything about tourism. Who wins?

Local leaders in Gdańsk:

  1. Kompas (Rating 9.0): If you're bored with lying around, this is the place for you. Specialists in active tourism.

  2. Tryton (Rating 8.8): Phenomenon. Ostensibly a diving center, but in reality a highly trusted travel agency (almost 400 reviews!).

  3. Herman Travel (5.0 Rating): A perfect example of a small office where the owner knows every client by name. Zero mishaps.

The takeaway from Gdańsk? Specialization wins. If you want to dive, go to Tryton. If you're looking for a standard vacation, but with a confident advisor, choose Herman Travel.

Sopot: Luxury, relationships, and "travel with meaning." What's the resort's pick?

Sopot is a different story. Here, you don't look for websites with "last minute" offers for 1,500 złoty. Sopot residents are looking for experiences.

  • For the Connoisseur: The Kiribati Club is unrivaled . These aren't just any vacations; they're tailor-made trips. A wedding in Zanzibar? A jungle expedition? It's standard here.

  • The Golden Mean: Sopot residents often recommend the local branch of Itaka . They consider it a safe and proven option when they don't want to experiment.

Fun fact: In Sopot, there's a clear shift away from mass tourism and toward concierge services. Travel should be "good," not just "cheap."

Gdynia: From diving to business class. A ranking for the discerning traveler.

Gdynia, a city of sea and dreams, has a very interesting spread in tourist preferences.

Who rules in Gdynia?

  1. Gdynia Dive (Rating 9.8): Absolute record-breaker. Just like in Gdańsk, the divers set the standard for customer service.

  2. Coral Travel in Orłowo (5.0 Rating): The location is a must. This is a boutique location for the budget-conscious traveler who values discretion.

  3. TUI on Świętojańska Street: Things are a bit different here. On the one hand, they're praised for their organization, but on the other, they're criticized for employee turnover and a lack of empathy when problems arise. This is a typical example of "material fatigue" at a large retailer.

Final Verdict: A Cheat Sheet for the Undecided

We've sifted through hundreds of opinions and financial reports. What's in it for you? Here's a quick cheat sheet ahead of the 2025/26 season:

  • Want a cheap and independent trip? Go ahead and book with TUI or Anex Tour . You'll get a great price, but don't expect anyone to hold your hand on the spot.

  • Do you value peace and security? Rainbow and Itaka are your players. You'll pay a little more, but peace of mind and a resident are included.

  • Living in the Tricity area and having high expectations? Avoid shopping malls. Go to the specialists – Kiribati Club , Gdynia Dive , or small agents like Herman Travel . There, you're still a guest, not a key in a database.

One thing is certain: in 2026, it's worth investing in quality. Sometimes, paying a few hundred zlotys extra for a reliable agency is the best investment you can make for your peace of mind.

What about you? Do you have your own proven office, or do you prefer to organize everything yourself? Let me know in the comments; I'd love to hear your thoughts!

FAQ

A short summary of the most important conclusions from the Strategic Report, which will help you make decisions and choose the perfect holiday organizer for the upcoming season.

  1. Which travel agency in Poland is the most financially secure? Rainbow and Itaka are the leaders in stability. These are market giants with significant capital resources. Rainbow also stands out for its higher profitability and better travel organization ratings.

  2. Where can I find the lowest prices for tours? TUI and Anex Tour offer the most competitive prices. However, it's important to remember that TUI's low prices often mean only the app and no hotel staff.

  3. Which agency should you choose for a premium exotic vacation? The undisputed leader in quality in the exotic travel segment is Ecco Travel (record rating 9.0/10). For Tricity residents, the Kiribati Club in Sopot is also a great alternative, offering tailor-made trips.

  4. I live in the Tricity area – is it better to choose a shopping mall office or a local one? The report clearly shows the advantage of small, local specialists. Offices like Gdynia Dive , Kompas (Gdańsk), and Coral in Orłowo have significantly higher service and knowledge ratings than "mass" outlets in shopping malls.

  5. Why does TUI have a lower average rating (4.7) despite its high popularity? This low rating stems from the digitalization of services. Traditional customers often complain about the lack of physical assistance from a resident and the need to resolve issues via hotline or chat, which reduces their sense of security.

  6. Who is the best specialist for Greece and Turkey? If you're planning a vacation to Greece, the specialist Grecos Holiday offers the highest quality. For Turkey and luxury 5-star hotels, Coral Travel is the surest choice.

  7. Will it be worth waiting for last-minute deals in 2025? Analyses indicate a strong return of the "first-minute" trend. Booking in advance is now safer and offers a wider selection of hotels than relying on last-minute deals, which are becoming increasingly scarce.
