Today, Uber is more than just a simple ride from point A to B – it is a whole catalogue of services tailored to various needs and situations.

UberX – a classic that nothing beats
This is the most popular service in Poland, and for good reason. UberX is the basic option for a private car ride for up to 4 people. Perfect for everyday commutes – to work, college, shopping or meetings. Cars are usually proven compacts that can easily fit you, your friends and a few bags.
Why is it worth it? Because it's a compromise between price and convenience. You get in, you ride, you pay reasonably. It's a benchmark for all other Uber services.
🧾 Price: 100% of the base rate. A cheap and efficient way to get around town.
UberX Share – Share the Ride, Share the Cost
This is something for those who think economically and ecologically. UberX Share lets you share a ride with someone who is going in the same direction. The system automatically selects a passenger, so you just ride – and pay less. Interestingly, the price is lower even if you don't end up getting on anyone.
For whom? For people traveling alone who don't mind having someone join them along the way. It's great in the morning when traffic is congested and prices are higher.
📍 Availability: For now only in Warsaw – pilot project, but may expand.
💰 Price: Up to 30% cheaper than UberX. For one person, but cheap and kind to the planet.
🌱 Uber Green – because the planet matters
Do you like silence in the car and want to do your bit for the environment? Uber Green is a ride in an electric or hybrid vehicle only. No exhaust fumes, modern technology, often newer cars.
What do you get? UberX-like comfort, but with a “green” bonus. Ecological transport, zero emissions and the knowledge that your ride means less CO₂ in the air.
🚘 Cars: Nissan Leaf, Toyota Prius – electric or hybrid with the EE marking.
📍 Where available? In the largest cities – Warsaw, Krakow, Wroclaw, Tricity, Poznan, Lodz and others.
💸 Price: Usually the same as UberX. Minimal surcharge is rare – Uber wants to keep the choice simple.
UberXL – When Four Seats Aren't Enough
Who said only four people can ride in one car? UberXL is an option for groups of up to 6 passengers. The cars are bigger – SUVs, minivans – with three rows of seats, so you can take friends, suitcases, and even a scooter.
For whom? For families, groups of friends, party crews, wedding guests, and also for the airport – when there is more luggage than space in a regular sedan.
📍 Where available? Major cities: Warsaw, Tricity, Krakow, Lublin, Szczecin.
💸 Price: About 1.5–2x more expensive than UberX, but for 5–6 people? It's really good value.
Uber Van – for really big crews
It's like UberXL, only bigger. Uber Van is the perfect solution for groups of 7-8 people who want to travel together without having to split into two cars. A great choice for airport transfers, group trips or organized events.
What are you looking for? A large van – Mercedes Vito, VW Caravelle, Renault Trafic – with space and comfort. Drivers are often experienced professionals.
📍 Availability: Mainly Warsaw, especially near Chopin Airport as "Uber Airport Van".
💸 Price: The most expensive among group options, but with 7-8 people – still cheaper than 2-3 cars.
Uber Comfort – comfort is not a luxury, it's a choice
Are you tired of stuffy and cramped cars? Do you need some peace and quiet or are you going to an important meeting?
Uber Comfort gives you more space, a more experienced driver, and the option to personalize your ride—like choosing whether you want to talk or stay quiet.
What do you gain? A larger sedan, a newer car, more culture and peace.
📍 Availability: Basically anywhere Uber operates – as long as the driver meets the requirements.
💰 Price: 20-30% more than UberX. Comfort costs money, but not a fortune.
Uber Black – Chauffeur, Leather and Prestige
Want to feel like a star? Uber Black is a premium option in the full sense of the word. Black limousines, professional drivers, the highest level of service. Everything is tip-top: leather seats, fragrant interior, water and a charger at hand.
For whom? Businessmen, VIPs , wedding couples, premium tourists – for anyone who wants to shine.
📍 Covers: Major cities – Warsaw, Krakow, Tricity, Poznan, Wroclaw, Silesia and others.
💰 Price: 2-3 times more than UberX. But it's a class that pays off when the occasion calls for it.
Uber by Women – Woman behind the wheel, woman passenger
A safe option designed with women in mind. Uber by Women allows female passengers to choose a ride with a female driver. Especially valuable in the evening, at night, or simply when you feel calmer in the company of a woman.
📍 Availability: Largest cities: Warsaw, Krakow, Poznan, Wroclaw, Lublin.
💰 Price: Same as UberX. No hidden costs.
Uber Pets – because your dog likes to ride too
Pets are family members – and Uber understands that. Uber Pets is an option for dog, cat (and other) owners who want to transport their pets without stress. The driver knows you’re traveling with your furry friend and is prepared for it.
Remember: a leash, a carrier and a clean paw – all will come in handy.

Uber Assist – When you need support

💰 Price: according to the city tariff, but you know it in advance, which eliminates surprises.

Uber Reserve: You book a ride in advance – up to 30 days. The driver waits in advance.
Uber Hourly: You hire a driver by the hour. Perfect for sessions, shopping, meetings.
Uber One: A subscription that gives you discounts and better driver matching.
How is Uber in Poland different from other countries?
Every driver must have a taxi license. This is not the norm everywhere.
