In Ibiza, it is impossible to mistake a taxi for any other vehicle – they are white, have blue license plates on the back and a green light on the roof . And this light is your guide – if it is on, it means a taxi is available.
It is possible to catch a taxi “on the fly”, but be warned: according to local regulations, you cannot hail one closer than 100 meters from an official taxi rank . And you can find them at the airport, in the center of Ibiza Town, San Antonio and other larger towns.
In the summer season (read: from July to September), finding a free taxi can be almost impossible – especially late in the evening. You do not need to install anything other than WhatsApp. Just provide the location, time and number of people. For larger groups (5-8 people), it is worth noting that a van or minibus is required. Reservation cost: €1.45, as for a telephone order.
Uber – operates seasonally in larger towns, convenient interface, but prices can be dynamic and there are fewer cars.
